COVID-19 AND THE SCIENCE (ps)

Writer's picture: Dudley Tal StokesDudley Tal Stokes

Here is a simple and inexpensive approach that I think can be sustainable and effective if pursued with energy, due to its simplicity and low cost.

Inoculation

Variolation is the process that the inventor of immunizations (at least in the Western world), Dr. Jenner, first used against smallpox.

Here is how it would work: low risk persons (about eighty percent of most populations) would be deliberately exposed to low amounts of the COVID 19 virus in a controlled environment after they have had their immune systems boosted by aggressive vitamin and mineral therapy. They would then be observed for a period, and when they are non-contagious, they would be free to go.

There are many details as to how this could be done safely that I will not get into here. Populations would need to be prioritised according to need, i.e. essential workers, particular industries, security services, et cetera. Immunity would be temporary at best, but any return of the virus would be met by an experienced immune system, even if it is not operating optimally.

This is a quick way to get back to production while minimising the risk to life.

Any thoughts on why this would or would not work are welcome.
