How much aspirin is enough? It depends on biochemical individuality, the current state of your body, the state of your gut and government policy where you live. In the UK for example the purchase of aspirin is controlled not so in the USA, Canada, Jamaica and many other places. In Germany I have bought from a pharmacists, without prescription, 500mg tablets of the highest quality.
If you have no experience with aspirin, start with a low dose, 81mg tablets being very common, or try children’s aspirin. To begin with, take aspirin on a full stomach, watch for signs of discomfort in the gut. Aspirin can be toxic, usually at very high doses (30*325mg tablets) a level to which no one should need to get. There are also reports of poisoning from long term use. I can only fall back on my own experience of 30 years, daily, with no obvious ill effects. If you notice a ringing in your ears after you begin aspirin, you should reduce your dose or stop and see if there is any effect. Try a lower dose.
I avoid fancy forms of aspirin such as coated or chewable aspirin. The non aspirin substances in these are not worth the risk for me.
For most people I think 75-100 mg daily will be enough to get real benefits. If you are going for performance, and are under stress, then more will be necessary. My daily dose, remember, very active, no other drugs, good gut, is 3*325mg tablets taken together early in the day, before I break my fast.
I would not suggest that anyone try this, but if you find your own level, and be consistent, you will get a performance boost
